アパレル雑貨のデザイナーを経てイラストレーターとして活動しているyurieさん個展“small chapter”を開催いたします。

さまざまな国を訪れた経験から、日本が紡いできた伝統文化や意匠に惹かれるようになったというyurieさん。

本展では手鏡や髪飾り、扇子や陶器といった日本らしいアイテムと清々しい女性像を色鉛筆でやさしく丁寧に、且つフォトジェニックに描いた作品群が並びます。また、yurie さんは紙でお花を造るハンドクラフトの活動もされていて、展示作品のなかには時間をかけて一つの造形物となったそれらをモチーフに描いたと思われる二次創作的な作品も飾っております。

展示作品に加えて、冊子やカード、ステッカー、アクリルキーホルダーも取り扱っております。

昨今流行りの80年代の擬似世界を懐かしむ「レトロ云々」とは異なる視点の、Aesthetic（情緒や審美的なセンス）漂うノスタルジーを感じてみてください。

香港のアーティスト LITTLE THUNDERと、LAで大学生活をしているKAIが、2024年夏に4年振りに東京で再開したことをきっかけに始まった交換絵日記が一冊の本になりました。人生の不安や悩み、気になっていることを赤裸々に綴った交換絵日記は、大人気アーティストLITTLE THUNDERの内面を垣間見れる貴重なものでもあり、KAIのセンチメンタルな気持ちも相まって、二人の永遠の夏を綴じたドキュメンタリーとなっております。

この本は通常版と特別ボックス版があります。

The exchange picture diary between Hong Kong artist LITTLE THUNDR and LA university student KAI, who reunited in Tokyo in the summer of 2024 for the first time in four years, is now available in a book.
The exchange diary, in which they candidly wrote about their anxieties, worries and concerns in life, is a rare glimpse into the inner life of the hugely popular artist Little Thunder, and combined with the sentimental feelings of university student Kai, it is a documentary about their eternal summer together.
